MANGALORE: Doctors at Tejasvini Hospital here successfully performed a total knee joint replacement surgery with aid of computer-assisted navigation technology on a 65-year-old woman from Bangalore recently. A press release from the hospital authorities here on Tuesday said that the patient was suffering from acute osteoarthrosis. The procedure was carried out by Ajith Kumar, orthopaedic surgeon. Dr. Shantaram Shetty, chairman of the hospital, said osteoarthrosis is a disease associated with aging.
