Medicos welcome PG service bond

HYDERABAD: The striking Andhra Pradesh Medical Students Association have welcomed the Government's decision for a postgraduate service bond for medical graduates.

However, the Association at the same time demanded that the extra 15 per cent seats given to in-service doctors be opened up for fresh qualified graduates who are interested in signing the bond and serving the Government. The Association alleged that fresh graduates were not provided a chance previously to join government service because of a ban on recruitment in the last five years.
