HYDERABAD:
Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai displayed the curiosity of a student in understanding things.He keenly watched the presentation made by L&T chief operating officer R. Sreedharan about the various IT projects handled by the company in different parts of the country. He asked questions about the other activities of the company like construction. And, when Mr. Sreedharan offered to answer questions, if any, the delegation had, Mr. Karzai was prompt to react: "We don't have our hi-tech people with us." Since the L&T's presentation was in English, Mr. Karzai volunteered to translate the gist of the presentation to his country's delegation in native language.
