KARIMNAGAR: An autorickshaw driver was arrested and remanded for allegedly harassing a college girl asking her to marry him and blackmailing her in Alibad village of Veenavanka mandal on Wednesday. According to the Veenavanka SI E. Raji Reddy, the accused, T. Sampath, found a photograph of a degree second year girl, who travelled in his auto to Jammikunta. Since then, the auto driver has been seeking her love. He wanted her to marry him and threatened that he would show the photograph publicly saying that she was in love with him. Based on a complaint given by the girl, the police arrested and remanded him. A case was registered under IPC 506 and 509.
