Dattatreya moots panel to visit Babli

HYDERABAD: Bandaru Dattatreya, former Union Minister and national BJP secretary, on Wednesday suggested that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh constitute an expert committee under the aegis of a senior technical official of the Water Resources Ministry to visit the Babli project.

In a letter addressed to Dr. Singh, he said the committee should immediately visit the project site to be convinced about the fact that Andhra Pradesh would suffer heavily if the project was completed.
