Clashes between TDP, Congress workers continue

KURNOOL: Violence erupted for the second day in Kautalam area of Kurnool district between the TDP and Congress supporters.

On Wednesday, the Congress supporters attacked the house of a former MPTC and damaged the doors at Halvi. On Tuesday, the Congressmen allegedly attacked the house of TDP leader Mahadevappa and others at Vallur. They ransacked the houses and injured some of the TDP men. The disturbances were reported following the visit of the TDP leaders to the village, who were accorded grand reception. Tension prevailed in about 10 villages of Kautalam mandal.
