IAF chief arrives to a warm welcome

ON A STATE VISIT: Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal S.P. Tyagi (left) and Vandana Tyagi being received by Air Marshal S.Y. Savur, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Air Command, and Asha Savur at the Air Force Station in Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief of Air Staff S. P. Tyagi arrived here on Wednesday on a two-day visit to the Southern Air Command headquarters.

He was accompanied by his wife Vandana Tyagi. They were received at the airport by Air Marshal S. Y. Savur, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, SAC. Later, the Air Chief proceeded to the SAC headquarters at Aakulam.

To address meet

He is scheduled to address the Air Force Commanders' Conference and interact with Air Force personnel. Mrs.Tyagi, president, Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Central), will participate in various welfare-related activities of the Southern Air Command.
