Two held for cheating bank

NEW DELHI: Two persons have been arrested by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Delhi police for allegedly cheating a bank of lakhs of rupees by availing of loan against a property that was already mortgaged.

One of the accused I.S. Sandhu took a loan of Rs. 50 lakhs from PNB and disappeared without paying even a single instalment. His accomplice Abhay Batra had also cheated others by promising to help them in getting loans.
