K.M. Sugar Mills plans Rs. 200 crore expansion
CHENNAI:
K. M. Sugar Mills has chalked out an expansion plan, involving an investment of Rs. 200 crore. The plan includes setting up of a new sugar unit with a capacity of 5,000 tonnes daily in Bihar along with a 15MW co-generation power project. It has already completed the expansion of the sugar unit at Faizabad from 4,500 tonnes daily to 6,500 tonnes daily for which the company had entered the capital market in October 2005. The company also proposes to set up a 60 kilo litre per day fuel grade ethanol plant in Ahmednagar district, Maharashtra.
