Ramco software for airlines

CHENNAI:
Ramco Systems has announced the launch of its software designed specifically for low-cost and for start-up airlines. It is developed and delivered on Ramco's Virtualworks platform.
Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, Ramco's Global Aviation and MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul)Software, Jim Fitzgerald, said for start-up and low-cost airlines, optimum functionality and satisfying regulatory requirements were compulsory, while effectively managing ongoing costs was vital to continued performance, growth and viability.
Mr. Fitzgerald said Ramco's rapid implementation methodology and built-in collaboration for integration had been implemented in Virgin America Inc.
He said Ramco's Aviation and MRO software was available through Sabre Airline Solutions, who had recently signed contracts with JeJu Air Co. in Seoul, South Korea, for its suite.
