K M Sugar Mills has successfully completed the expansion of sugar division form 4,500 TCD to 6,500 TCD.

Universal Cables will consider and approve the scheme of amalgamation of Optic Fibre Goa Ltd. with the company at a meeting of the board of directors of the company to be held on April 18.

Jet Airways India has reached a mutual understanding with Sahara Airlines for providing consultancy support to them. This consultancy support will be provided by the company with the objective of enhancing Sahara Airlines' product, improve their on-time performance and service levels as also to improve their bottom line.

Gail India has signed a gas transmission agreement (GTA) with Rajasthan Rajya Vidhyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd. (RRVUNL) for its 330 MW gas-based power plant at Dholpur. Under the agreement, 1.5 million standard cubic metre a day of gas will be transmitted to RRVUNL's Dholpur plant.

Satyam Computer Services has announced a strategic partnership with Optimation, a leading New Zealand software and technology services company. The partnership will leverage the local and international capabilities of both companies to help New Zealand companies optimise their use of technology as an enabler for business. Optimation will be the exclusive representative for the company in New Zealand.

Ambuja Cement Eastern will invest Rs. 800 crore for expanding capacity of clinkerisation unit at Bhatpara in Chhattisgarh.

Kesoram Industries has said that the High Court at Kolkata has approved the scheme of amalgamation of the subsidiary company, Assam Cotton Mills with the company.
