Isolated rain in Tamil Nadu

CHENNAI: Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Telangana and dry weather prevailed over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in centimeters.

On Wednesday, the maximum temperature rose at one or two places over South Coastal Tamil Nadu and changed little elsewhere over the region.

They were appreciably above normal at one or two places over Andhra Pradesh, South Coastal Tamil Nadu, South Kerala, Coastal Karnataka, above normal at many places over rest Tamil Nadu, at one or two places over rest Andhra Pradesh, rest Coastal Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka, rest south Kerala and were generally normal over rest of the region.

Forecast (valid until Saturday morning ): Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Interior Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Kerala and Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather will prevail over Coastal Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Coastal Karnataka and Lakshadweep.
