Parvathamma Rajkumar anguished

Because of the crowd she could not see the body for the last time

BANGALORE: Because of the huge crowds at the Kanteerava studios where people had come to have a last glimpse of matinee idol Rajkumar, Parvathamma Rajkumar lost her only chance to see her husband's body before it was buried.

There was chaos outside the studios. "Because of the chaos, I could not take a look at my husband for the last time," an emotional Parvathamma Rajkumar told a private news channel.

Ms. Parvathamma Rajkumar was a pillar of strength to the thespian.

She closely monitored his health.

Her inability to get a final glimpse of her husband, Ms. Parvathamma Rajkumar said, was a big let down and a source of great pain.

But Ms. Parvathamma Rajkumar recovered soon and spoke about her husband's wish. "I will inform the Government about what he had in mind for the betterment of Kannada language and filmdom," she said.
