Workshop on vascular surgical skills

CHENNAI:
the Vascular Society of India (VSI), the national body of vascular surgeons, will conduct a hands-on training workshop on basic vascular surgical skills in Chennai on April 21.
The workshop is open to all postgraduates of surgery and practising surgeons, as well as allied surgical specialists.
The VSI hopes to train more surgeons in techniques such as controlling bleeding and suturing blood vessels to help them intervene more effectively in emergencies.
sThe training would also help surgeons handle blood vessels safely during major surgical procedures.
