At Puletipalli, in Chennekothapalli mandal, farmers themselves locked the visiting mandal agriculture officer in a room demanding the same. Praja Patham gram sabhas in which Minister for Agriculture N. Raghuveera Reddy participated were obstructed by the TDP activists at Lepakshi and Kanchisamudram villages.
