Jitender stars in Delhi Club's win

NEW DELHI: A five-wicket haul by Jitender Choudhary helped Delhi Club to a three-wicket victory over Municipal Corporation of Delhi in the Super Elite II division DDCA cricket league at the Yamuna Sports Complex.

The scores: Super Elite II: MCD 164 in 32.5 overs (Raghvender Kumar 45, Jitender Choudhary five for 29) lost to Delhi CC 166 for seven in 34.5 overs. Elite II: South Delhi Colts 287 for eight in 40 overs (Raj Kapoor 104 not out, Sant Ram 58) bt MTNL 190 for five in 40 overs (T.T. Dalip 86). Elite: Raghubir Willowers 183 for seven in 35 overs (Montu Singh 46) bt Hind CC 124 in 29.3 overs (Parminder Singh 41, Tanesh Kaushik four for 23).
