`BJP, TDP still have tacit understanding'

Staff Reporter

Veiled association is clear: Minister

ANANTAPUR : Minister for Agriculture and Civil Supplies N. Raghuveera Reddy has alleged that BJP and TDP still appear to have a tacit understanding between them.

The issues they rake up are a clear indication of such a veiled association, he said.

Whatever TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu says is repeated by the BJP leaders, the Minister observed while talking to newspersons here on Sunday. While the TDP had distanced itself from BJP due to fear of further loss of minority votes, the BJP was unable to sever its links with the regional party.

Finding fault with L. K. Advani's remarks on internal security of the country, Mr. Reddy who was earlier for a long time with the BJP, sought to know if the blasts in Delhi and Kashmir threatened the internal security, what the terrorists' attack on Parliament during the NDA rule meant.
