THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Two records were set on the third day of the Thiruvananthapuram district swimming championships at the Naniyode swimming pool here on Sunday. V. Nandu of YMA set a new mark (0:27.66) in the senior boys' 50m butterfly event after breaking K. Rajiv's old mark of (0:27.95) set in 2001. H.S. Priyanka (Priyadarshini) broke Radhika R.I. Nair's 10-year-old mark in 400m individual medley race in senior girls' category. Priyanka clocked 6:12.91s to erase the old mark which stood at 6:25.42s. The results: (winners only) Boys: Group I: 100m freestyle: V. Sarath (YMA) - 0:59.53; 50m breaststroke: J.S.Niju (Royal) - 0:35.74; 50m butterfly: V. Nandu (YMA) - 0.27.66 (NMR; OR- 0:27.95, K.
