Power shutdown

CHENNAI: Power supply will be suspended in parts of Velachery SS, Muthialpet, Korattur, J.J. Nagar East and Anna Nagar West, K.K. Nagar SS and Vadapalani areason Tuesday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. for maintenance work.

There will be a total shutdown at the 33/11 kv Thoraipakkam sub station on Tuesday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. for erection of new feeder breaker. During shutdown, there will be no power supply in Thoraipakkam, Karapakkam, Enjambakkam and Mettukuppam.

Workshop on presentation skills

The Austin Exim Private Limited is conducting a one-day workshop on presentation skills to plan, prepare and make personal and business presentations. The workshop is on April 23 from 9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Hotel Goutham Manor, Nungambakkam. S.V. Suryanarayana is conducting the workshop.

The Leadership Learning Centre (LLC) of SSN Institutions — School of Management and Computer Applications (SSNSoMCA) in association with the information technology and Computer Science Engineering department, conducted a three-day inter-department workshop between April 3 and 4, on animation and games development.
