Police suspect financial disputes could have led to the killing

HYDERABAD:
A 27-year-old man was found murdered in an isolated place at Kantha Reddy Colony in Rajendranagar on Sunday morning. According to the police, K. Srinivas, a labourer and resident of Attapur, was killed after his head was smashed with a boulder. The incident came to light when a person who went for morning walk noticed the body and alerted the police.
"We suspect a scuffle might have ensued between Srinivas and assailants over a dispute, " Rajendranagar Inspector Ch. Srinivas said. The police suspect that financial disputes could have led to the murder.
Police officials summoned labourers from different localities since they could not identify the body. Later, a group of labourers from Puranapul identified Srinivas with the help of a silver chain around his neck. "We are suspecting the role of victim's friend Suri as there is a financial dispute between them for the last few months," the Inspector said. The police registered a murder case under Section 302 of IPC and launched a manhunt for Suri.
