Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: The flower-decked Karaga of Mutyalamma Devi will be taken out in Dhoopanahalli here on Monday night.

The programme will start with abhishekam and other pujas to 20 gods and goddesses, including Mutyalamma Devi, at 10 p.m. The Karaga and pallakki utsavam will start at just past midnight. It will pass through several temples in the area, including the Maheshwaramma Temple, Yellamma Temple, Srirama Temple, and through HAL 2nd Phase, Old Tippasandra, Kodihalli, before returning to the temple.

Appeal to devotees

Devotees have been asked not to throw anything except jasmine flowers at the Karaga. Those offering pujas to the Karaga at their houses have to ensure that the roads are clean and no inconveniences caused to the Karaga.
