NIZAMABAD: A US-based music composer and friend of Nizamabad MP Madhu Yaskhi has collected Rs 3 lakhs in America for the family members of farmers who committed suicide due to increasing debts and failure of crops in Machareddy mandal. Responding to a news item telecast by a TV news channel, the US-based music composer, Joseph Curiale, collected donations from his friends in the US and other countries and arrived in Nizamabad district to hand it over to the widows of the farmers who resorted to suicide. The amount was handed over to the family members through the Madhu Yaskhi foundation on Monday. They identified all the victims from Machareddy mandal from where the highest suicides were reported. Besides, the foundation also identified four families and decided to clear all their debts in the village in Machareddy on Tuesday. Mr Joseph Curiale and the Nizamabad MP Madhu Yaskhi's wife, Suchi Yaskhi, assured all necessary assistance for the uplift of farmers and others through the foundation.
