PPCC revamp soon: Oscar

CHANDIGARH: Reorganisation of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee would be carried out soon after the ongoing Assembly elections in the States are over, Union Minister of State for Programme Implementation Oscar Fernandes said on Monday.

``The PPCC would be reorganised within 15 days after the Assembly polls are over,'' he said. He also commended the efforts of the Punjab State Congress chief S. S. Dullo in consolidating the party base at the grass-root level by constituting village and ward level committees and issuing identity cards to the members of the village committees. PTI
