Power shutdown

Power supply will be affected between 9.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday in parts of R.M. Nagar, Hoysala Nagar, Dasappa Layout, Kuvempu Nagar, parts of TC Palya Main Road, Guru Murthy Reddy Layout and surrounding areas.

Distance programmes

The Regional Institute of English, South India, Jnanabharathi campus, is offering the following distance mode programmes: a one-year postgraduate diploma in English language teaching from June 1 and a one-year diploma in communication commencing from July 1. Application forms and prospectus can be obtained by sending a Demand Draft of Rs. 250 in favour of the Director of the Institute or can be downloaded from the website http: //riesi.kar.nic.in. Physiotherapy camp

The Goutham Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Centre is organising a free health camp for orthopaedic, neurological, post traumatic stiffness, post surgical stiffness, neck pain, lower back pain, pain in joints, muscular pain and rehabilitation of patients with physiotherapy ailments on April 15, 2006 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. The camp will be held at 892/B, Dr. M.C.
