Thiruvananthapuram: A 23-year-old youth was killed when the motorbike he was riding and a lorry collided at Aaralumoodu on Monday. He was identified as Vishnu, son of N. Hariharan of Balaramapuram. He was an MBBS student at Dr. Somervell Medical College, Karakonam and had been on his way to the college when the accident occurred. The body has been kept in the mortuary of Medical College hospital.
Woman killed
A woman was killed and five others were injured when the driver of the autorickshaw in which they were travelling, lost control of the vehicle and hit a wall. The accident occurred at Perumkuzhy, near Kaniyapuram, on Monday. The deceased was identified as Saraswathy (65) of Kaniyapuram.Four other women passengers in the autorickshaw and the driver of the vehicle are under treatment.
