Hutch reduces local SMS rates

NEW DELHI: Hutch has reduced local SMS rates from Rs. 1.50 to Re. 1 across all pre-paid and post-paid plans in the Delhi circle. The new reduced SMS rate will be applicable from April 18. "SMS has become an integral part of communication for mobile phone users. While we had recently offered SMS at Re.1 across some plans, we would now like to extend the benefit of the reduced SMS tariff of Re. 1 to all our subscribers across Delhi and its satellite townships," said Hutchison Essar's Operations Director (Delhi), Sanjoy Mukerji.
