IBS Software solution for Nippon Cargo
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
Japan's Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA) will become the launch customer for iCargo, a next generation air cargo and logistic management system developed by Technopark-based IBS Software Services. An agreement in this regard was signed between the two companies at a function held in Tokyo recently, Chairman and Managing Director of IBS, V. K. Mathews, said at a press conference here on Tuesday. The IBS product is an integrated web-based system that covers the movement of cargo along the entire chain covering the ship, air and the road. NCA's general manager (IT division), Masaaki Kariya, said NCA's plan was to start its cargo system operation using iCargo by the fourth quarter of 2007.
