Support for Independent candidate

CHENNAI:
Lakshmi Krishnamoorthy, daughter of freedom fighter and late Congress leader Sathyamoorthy, has declared that she would support Mylapore constituency candidate (Independent) V. Narayanan.
In a meeting held here on Sunday, Ms. Krishnamoorthy described Mr. Narayanan as an excellent social worker and the right kind of politician.
She said that former Chief Minister Kamarajar and Sathyamoorthy would have supported a candidate like Mr. Narayanan.
B.S. Raghavan, former advisor to the UN, and several Congress party persons also expressed their support.
