Germany takes top honours

Chennai: World champion Germany won the four-nation international hockey tournament at Monchengladback (Germany) on April 17 with a 1-0 victory over Spain in the final match of the event.

Moritz Furste netted the winner. Germany finished the tournament with nine points followed by Spain (6), India (3) and Argentina (0).

Germany's Bjorn Emmerling was adjudged the player of the tournament while Manuel Vivaldi was voted as the best goalkeeper.
