Two killed in accidents

Kakinada: Two persons were killed in two road accidents in the district on Tuesday. Ethakota Raj kumar (28) driver was killed and three others, including two women, were injured when the car in which they were travelling from Tuni to Rajahmundry lost control and dashed against a stationary lorry near Thammaiahpet on the national highway under Thondangi police station limits. In the second accident in Samalkot around noon, Rajapurohit Gopi (26) a sweetshop owner was run over by a speeding lorry while he was crossing the road.

He succumbed to injuries on the way to hospital.
