KANNUR: The total number of the electorate in the district is 15,50,401, including 6,110 service voters.

The number of voters in each of the 10 Assembly constituencies in the district is as follows:

Irikkur - 1,65,289 (82,679 men, 82,610 women); Payyannur - 1,61,862 (74,120 men, 87,742 women); Taliparamba - 1,84,585 (86,391 men, 98,194 women); Azhikode - 1,33,436 (59,778 men, 73,658 women); Kannur - 1,30,042 (60,410 men, 69,632 women); Edakkad - 1,59,926 (73,614 men, 86,312 women); Thalassery - 1,31,037 (59,917 men, 71,120 women); Peringalam - 1,48,588 (68,754 men, 79,834 women); Koothuparamba - 1,57,058 (74,652 men, 82,406 women) and Peravur 1,78,468 (87,187 men, 91,281 women).
