call off strike

Mr. Jayaraj said that the strike was announced on Monday. But the Government had promised to look into their demand, he said.

A senior KPTCL official said the workers were upset that the pay scale revision had been pending for a long time. "However, the issue has been amicably solved and the strike has been called off for the moment," he added.
