Monish enters quarterfinals

BANGALORE: M. Monish Rajer battled past sixth-seeded S.D. Jayaraj Prasanna 6-4, 4-6, 7-5 to enter the quarterfinals of the Malleswaram Association-AITA Champion Series U-14 tennis tournament here on Tuesday. The rest of the seeds progressed without much ado.

Meanwhile, Ravina Shetty and Likitha Shetty had to dig into their reserves to put it across Spurti Shivalingaiah and Padma Priya respectively in three hard fought sets.
