PATHANAMTHITTA: The local people of Vazhamuttom East on the banks of the Achenkoil river have condemned the alleged official indifference towards the illegal sand-mining from the river. A meeting of the people held at Vazhamuttom on Monday resolved to launch an agitation against the official negligence towards illegal sand-mining in the locality.
