University revises exam timetable

MANGALORE: Mangalore University has announced the revised timetable for its degree examinations initially scheduled to be held on April 13.

The examinations were deferred in view of State mourning announced by the Government in honour of thespian Rajkumar who died on April 12, a press release from the Registrar (Evaluations) said. Examinations for the first year BA/BSW students, B.Sc. and B.Com. students will now be held on April 20, April 21 and April 25 respectively between 9 a.m. and noon. Examinations for the third year BSW, B.Com., B.Sc. and BA students will be held on April 21, April 22, April 25 and May 2 respectively between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., the release said.

Examinations for BBM, BCA, BA (HRD), B.Sc. (H.S), B.Sc. (FND), BHM, B.Sc. (Fashion Design), B.Sc. (Garment Design), PGDBM, PGDTHM and others will be held on the next day after the last of the scheduled examinations for these courses. The university has also rescheduled the Sanskrit (elective five) examination scheduled for May 2 to May 5 between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
