BANGALORE: The "Education Worldwide India Fair" here on Tuesday, which featured about 50 universities and institutions from Thailand, Canada, U.S., Malaysia, Cyprus, Japan and France, attracted students looking for cost-efficient higher education courses abroad. The biggest presence was that of Thailand, with five universities under the banner of the Department of Export Promotion. Presenting their courses and admission procedures to students were representatives from Siam University, The Sirindhorn International, Webster University Thailand, Prem Tinsulanonda International School and Silpakorn University.
Courses offered
The universities offered courses in Management, Computer Education, Medicine, Fashion, Multimedia, Hotel Management, Tourism, Air Hostess Training, Graphic Design, Beauty Care, Polytechnics, Call Centre Training and language courses. Among the participating Indian institutions were E-LIP Academy, Garden City College, Green Field College of Catering and Hotel Management, Institute of Aviation and Aviation Safety, Institute of Health Management, Rai Foundation, Resonance and Toonz Webel Academy. The Education Fair is being organised in seven cities in the country. It will be held in Chennai on April 21 and 22, Hyderabad on April 24 and 25 and Kolkata on April 27 and 28.
