Suspension revoked

CHENNAI
: The Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC) has withdrawn the suspension of A.Chellakumar from the party.
According to a TNCC press release, Mr. Chellakumar's suspension was being revoked on the instruction of the All-India Congress Committee. He would be allowed to hold the posts he was holding before the suspension, the release added. Mr. Chellakumar, an AICC member and former MLA, was suspended after his followers allegedly indulged in anti-party activities over the allotment of seats to the Congress by the DPA in the Assembly elections.
