CHENNAI: Mylai Thiruvalluvar Tamizh Sangam, Tamil Language Department, Madras University and Thirukkural Higher Studies and Research Centre are jointly organising a competition for the Best Thirukkural Book published during 2003- 2006. The best three books will be awarded prizes and either the author or the publisher can collect the prize amount. The first prize is Rs. 5,000, the second prize carries a cash award of Rs. 3,000 and the third prize Rs. 2,000.
