Power shutdown

CHENNAI: Power supply will be suspended in Panjetty SS, JJ Nagar East, GP Road in Anna Salai, Sothuperumbedu and Manali SS areas on April 20 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. for maintenance work.

Blood donation

The Blood Bank of Indian Red Cross Society conducted a blood donation camp on April 14 at Parish Priest, Our Lady of Consolation in Vyasarpadi. The camp was organised by Fr. Jesudas.

German language for beginners

Meet on science

Tamil Nadu Science and Technology Centre in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu Astronomy Association will conduct a national conference on `Astronomy and Planetarium Science' between April 29 and May 1. The conference is to provide training for amateur astronomers from all over the country and also help them interact with professionals. About 300 amateurs are expected to participate.
