Shiv Khera to set up institute

Special Correspondent

`It will train managers who create leaders, not managers who cannot lead'

Bangalore: Shiv Khera, motivational speaker and author of the best-seller You Can Win, announced here on Tuesday that he would set up an institute in Delhi to "create true leaders and teach what I have learned in life''.

Speaking to presspersons, Mr. Khera said the institute might ward a degree or diploma. It would "train managers who create leaders, not managers who cannot lead'', he added.

"Success with self-fulfilment, motivating motivators, communication skills, developing self-esteem instead of ego, and communication and interpersonal skills will be part of the teaching that may last two to four years,'' he said.

Asked why he was starting the institute in India, he said: "I am still an Indian resident though I have lived in the U.S. for over 30 years." Mr. Khera announced he would hold a one-day workshop here.

Sri Ramachandra Guruji of Spiritual Solutions said his organisation was arranging the programme at Ambedkar Bhavan on Thursday.
