City Police Commissioner submits interim report on violence to Sial

BANGALORE: Commissioner of Police Ajai Kumar Singh on Tuesday submitted an interim report to the Director-General and Inspector-General of Police B.S. Sial on the violence in the city on April 12 and April 13 following the death of thespian Rajkumar. According to sources in the police, Mr. Ajai Kumar Singh obtained reports from all the Deputy Commissioners of Police on the violence reported from their respective divisions.

After perusing the reports given by the Deputy Commissioners of Police, Mr. Ajai Kumar Singh made his observations on them and submitted the interim report to Mr. Sial, the sources said.

Mr. Ajai Kumar Singh has sought time from Mr. Sial for submitting a detailed and final report, the sources have said. Eight persons, including a police constable, were killed in the violence.
