Aged woman dies after being hit by motorcycle

BANGALORE:
A 70-year-old woman was killed after a motorcycle hit her near HAL Market in Indiranagar traffic police station limits on Monday. According to the police, the injured was taken to St. John's Hospital where she died in the night.
The police are yet to identify the woman.
Robbed
Three persons waylaid a degree student and robbed her of a mobile phone near Bangalore University hostel in Ulsoor Gate police station limits on Monday.
The police said Preeti Nayar, who was staying in the hostel, had gone out on some work in the evening. When she was returning to the hostel, she received a call from her friend. While she was talking, the three waylaid her and took away the mobile phone valued at Rs. 15,000, the police said.
