JD (S) gets one seat from PMC quota

PONDICHERRY: The Pudhucherry Munnetra Congress has allotted the Kuruvinatham seat, from its quota of 10 seats, to Janata Dal (Secular)

JD (S) will field Navanitha Kannan.

He would be contesting on the party symbol of `a lady carrying bundle of paddy'.

Mr. Navanitha Kannan would be taking on the sitting PMC MLA Radhakrishnan, who is contesting on the Congress ticket this time.

The decision to share the seat was announced jointly by PMC leader P Kannan and Janata Dal (Secular) national leader C Balaraman at a press meet here on Wednesday.
