CHENNAI: Rainfall occurred at a few places over Tamil Nadu. Isolated rainfall occurred over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and south interior Karnataka and dry weather prevailed over Rayalaseema, Telangana, Lakshadweep, coastal and north interior Karnataka.

The following stations recorded heavy rainfall in centimetres: Senkottai (Tirunelveli dt.) 9 and Dindigul 7.

Forecast (valid until Friday morning ): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and south interior Karnataka. Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Rayalaseema, Kerala and north interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather will prevail over Lakshadweep and coastal Karnataka.
