1:2 bonus from Infotech Enterprises

HYDERABAD: Infotech Enterprises, a global engineering design provider, has announced a stock split and a bonus offer in the ratio of one share for every two shares held. The company's board has decided to split its stock of Rs. 10 into two shares of Rs. 5 each. Total revenue of the company for 2005-06 was Rs. 362.50 crore and the net profit Rs. 50.32 crore, against Rs. 257.13 crore and Rs. 27.38 crore, respectively, in the previous fiscal. The board had recommended a 22.5 per cent pre-bonus and pre-split dividend, Infotech Chairman and Managing Director, B. V. R. Mohan Reddy, said.
