Ghodekar triumphs

Hyderabad : Ghodekar of MG and G area won the 10,000 metres race in the army's Southern Command athletic championship here on Wednesday.

The results: 10,000m: 1. Ghodekar (MG and G) 32m 31.84s; 2. Gyanchand (ATNK and K); 3. Mallesh (ATNK and K); 200m: 1. T.B. Shanoj (ATNK and K) 21.90s; 2. Ibarat Ali (ATNK and K); 3. Satish Kumar (MG and G); 400m hurdles: 1. Jaspal Singh (ATNK and K) 55.90s; 2. P.C. Burman (ATNK and K); 3. Bijay Bora (36 Inf Div).
