HP transfers i-community project to BASIX

BANGALORE: Hewlett Packard on Wednesday announced that its three-year memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh Government on the Kuppam i-community initiative has been transferred to private hands. The company had signed an MoU with BASIX, an NBFC engaged in providing livelihood promotion services, to take over and manage the Kuppam project, a HP statement said here.
