Man killed in accident

Mangalore: A motorcyclist was killed on the spot in a collision with a goods vehicle at Mukka on the outskirts of Surathkal along National Highway 17 on Tuesday night. The victim was identified as Prakash Rao (32), a resident of Thadambail near Suratkal. The goods vehicle, which was on its way to Udupi, fell into a ditch. The Surathkal police have registered a case.
