Train passenger arrested, 35 kg of ganja seized

BANGALORE:
The railway police on Wednesday arrested a man from Andhra Pradesh, who was suspiciously moving in the Cantonment Railway Station and seized from him 35 kg of ganja estimated at Rs. 1 lakh.
The police gave his name as Shankar (35) of Warangal district. The police said that after alighting from the Kacheguda Express, Shankar, who was carrying a bag and a suitcase, was moving suspiciously at the station.
The police took him to custody, searched his baggage and found ganja in the bag and the suitcase. The police suspect that the accused was supplying ganja to his contacts in Bangalore. The Cantonment Railway police have registered a case.
