This Day That Age
The appointment of Mr. Fazl Ali, former Judge of the Supreme Court, as Governor of Assam, to succeed Mr. Jairamdas Daulatram, was announced in New Delhi on April 20. Mr. Fazl Ali, who will take up his post from the middle of next month, was Chairman of the three-man Commission on States Reorganisation.
